Our History

Our journey began in 1965, when Late Shri G. N. Rathod founded G. N. Rathod & Associates in Valsad as a niche indirect tax and industrial consultancy. With the growth of industries in Vapi, Umbergaon, Sarigam, and other areas during the 1970s, the firm played a key role in helping businesses with licenses, registrations, permissions, and finance. This laid a strong foundation for becoming one of the most trusted advisory firms in the region.

Over time, the firm expanded with new professionals and services. In 1994, Advocate Ajay Shah joined, transforming the practice into a full-service law firm. In 2021, the firm became Rathod Management Consultancy LLP and later rebranded in 2024 as Rathod Advisors LLP. Today, with expertise in taxation, corporate law, finance, mergers, and business strategy, we continue to advise clients across Gujarat and India with the same dedication and trust that started our journey.

1965 – Foundation

The firm was established as G. N. Rathod & Associates by Late Shri G. N. Rathod in Valsad. It began as a niche practice in indirect tax and industrial consultancy.

1970 – Industrial Growth Support

With industries developing in Vapi and surrounding areas, the firm started offering complete support for licenses, permissions, registrations, and finance. A branch office was set up in GIDC Vapi.

1994 – Full Service Law Firm

Mr. Ajay Shah, son of Shri G. N. Rathod, joined the firm. This marked the transformation into a full-service law firm offering taxation, corporate law, mergers, acquisitions, and finance advisory.

2020 – New Generation Joins

Mr. Chintan Shah (Chartered Accountant) and Mr. Manthan Shah (Advocate), sons of Ajay Shah, joined the practice, bringing fresh expertise and modern strategies.

2021 – Firm Restructuring

The proprietary firm was converted into Rathod Management Consultancy LLP, giving it a stronger partnership structure for wider advisory services.

2024 – Rathod Advisors LLP

The firm was rebranded as Rathod Advisors LLP, combining six decades of legacy with modern expertise in tax, legal and finance advisory.
